Plektrum: Mauritz's life in music, on RSG
RSG broadcast an hour-long documentary on Mauritz Lotz, made by Esté de Klerk.
In Plektrum, Mauritz tells the story of nearly five decades as a guitarist, producer and composer in his own words, and eleven artists who have worked with him add their side of it. He opens up about why music is a safe place for him, and the place where he becomes whole.
The title points to the small tool used to pluck a string, and to the idea that something small, in life too, can make a big difference.
You can listen to the whole documentary, in Afrikaans, on our event page or on RSG's own site.
